Noah's prophecies for his three sons determined the history of men. Jacob's prophecies for his twelve sons not only determined the future of men, but also the future of God's kingdom. No wonder the angel claimed that Jacob struggled with God and with humans and had overcome. The same Holy Spirit that inspired Jacob could also inspire those who are saved by grace.
